The experience takes place in a space of over 2000 square meters, divided into several rooms, each designed to offer a unique and immersive experience related to the story of Tutankhamun and Ancient Egypt.
One of the highlights of this experience is the room that incorporates the Pico G3 Virtual Reality devices. In this room, attendees take a seat and are immersed in an 8-minute journey that recreates the life and times of Tutankhamun in Ancient Egypt. To ensure that as many attendees as possible can enjoy the experience simultaneously, Ideal Barcelona has a total of 36 glasses available.
What is remarkable about this experience is that it is designed so that even children can enjoy it, as it does not require active interaction, but rather viewers can watch the content in a room specially prepared to immerse them in the history and discourse presented.
About Ideal Barcelona
Ideal Barcelona, a Digital Arts Centre in Barcelona, partnered with Layers of Reality and MAD (Madrid Artes Digitales) to offer an unparalleled immersive experience to its visitors. The experience, entitled “Immersive Experience” and dealing with Tutankhamun and Ancient Egypt, aimed to immerse the public in a unique journey through Ancient Egypt using Virtual Reality, among other immersive technologies.

Ideal Barcelona approached INVELON in search of the right Virtual Reality technology for their “The Immersive Experience” project. After close consultation and thanks to the continuous collaboration with other Ideal Barcelona projects, the Pico G3 devices were chosen to carry out this experience. These devices offer high-quality performance and an immersive experience, making them the ideal choice to transport visitors to Ancient Egypt in an authentic and immersive way.
